This year's event brought together Czech business families with representatives from FBN Sweden and FBN Finland on one stage. We are glad that we could bring inspiration from the Bonnier and Ahlström families to the Czech audience and foster the sharing of experiences across generations and borders.
The theme throughout the day was values and their transfer into daily life and across generations. An important moment was also the introduction of Family Business Institute – an educational platform for business families and their advisors.
The block "The Art of Leaving" generated a strong response, which looked at succession primarily from a human and emotional perspective. Jiří Charvát and David Krajíček's stand-up lecture "The Hundred-Year-Old Cowboy and DEATH" also received a very positive reaction, as did Milan Šemelák's Brand Games.
FBW Summit 2026 in numbers:
We were pleased by the visit of Minister Karel Havlíček and the strong emotions during the FBW Awards ceremony, where powerful stories and their heroes once again shone brightly.
The most common feedback from participants? Friendly atmosphere, natural networking, intimate format, and the combination of international inspiration with the experiences of Czech business families.
We thank all guests, partners, speakers, and team members. And if you know someone who deserves recognition for their contribution to family business, nominations for the FBW Awards 2027 are now open.
